What will be your main tasks?
-
designing embedded device from scratch which includes developing hardware architecture, selecting electronic components, creating schematic and PCB design in Altium Designer
-
device development in accordance with the security requirements, EMC, ESD, and device's working environment
-
device development in accordance with the IPC guidelines for DFX (Design for Excellence)
-
preparation of PCB production documentation
-
working with “version control” systems
-
regular communication with manufacturers and assemblers with a goal of establishing high-quality production
-
defining and implementing test procedures for verifying hardware prototypes and testing final version of device
-
working on the development of the whole device concept within multidisciplinary team
-
supporting designers in the development of the case for the device
-
supporting software engineers in the development of firmware and software for the device
You are the right person for us if you:
-
have a University degree in electrical engineering, engineering (preferably robotics) or another relevant field (preferable but not required)
-
have experience in electronics development: microcontrollers, communication interfaces (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C), analog and digital inputs/outputs, linear and switching power supplies
-
have experience in multilayer PCB design (4+ layers is a plus)
-
have knowledge of English language
-
have strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
-
show proactive approach to work and are focused on continuous learning and professional development
-
prefer teamwork, openly express your ideas and accept the ideas of others
An additional plus is if you:

have knowledge of German language

have experience in managing projects

have experience working with clients
